On Tuesday, February 4th, the Decatur Classical School Certamen Teams had our final meet of the year at New Trier High School in Winnetka. The Varsity team included Murad Chander, Gabe Story and Enrique Morales while the JV team was represented by Angelica Besa and Carolynn Smith. Both teams competed against Latin students from Wilmette Junior High and the Science and Arts Academy. They battled through 3 rounds of 20 mythology and Latin questions to earn a combined score of 260 points for a 3rd place win. Honorable mention to Decatur’s varsity team who earned their first wins this season on both rounds 1 and 2. Congratulations teams!
