Week of December 18, 2017
We had a very busy week of finishing our chapters in Science, Math and Social Studies as well as finishing our Persuasive Essays. Phew! We are all ready for Winter Break!
We did work on some fun projects such as learning to draw a cute hot chocolate mug and snowglobe. Students also enjoyed working on winter sudoku and creating their own puzzles. They played winter math games that reinforced multiplication and division skills.
Math Test: Students are bringing home their math tests today. After passing them back, I had a student ask me to look at a problem that was marked wrong. It was in fact correct, the answer key was wrong! It is #12B. I asked the students to bring me their math tests if it was mismarked and I re-graded them very quickly before the end of the day (sorry for the messy writing!). Please let me know if I missed anyone.
Thank you so much to Josh Bucher for planning a fun holiday craft for the students! I attached a picture of some of the very creative snowmen that they students designed. Thank you again, Josh, for all of your hard work as our room parent!
Have a wonderful and relaxing Winter Break! See you in 2018!
