|We are onto quarter 3! Wow!
This week, students reached the next level of their Marble Jar. On Thursday afternoon, we did Art (a directed drawing) and then ended the day by watching The Scrambled States of America. It was a very fun afternoon!
|A LOOK AT OUR WEEK|
|MATH: We started chapter 7- More division! Students learned how to multiply with 2, 5, 10, and 3. We practiced using number lines, skip counting, and drawing models.|
|READING & LANGUAGE ARTS: We read some different Scholastic News articles in Literacy Centers. Students practiced their understanidng of nonfiction stories and text features.|
|SCIENCE: We shared our bug projects! I am blown away at how creative our class is! The students and I all loved looking at each other’s bug models.|
|SOCIAL STUDIES: This week, we read about Diego Rivera and answered questions!|
|SECOND STEP: We learned about how to accept responsibility. This was a good conversation about admitting to mistakes and how we can work to better these situations.
