Kindergarten through 6th grade classes have all been working on the 3 main components of physical fitness: cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and muscular strength.
Ask your K-2 child what their favorite super hero fitness component is, Kid Cardio, Fun Flexibility or Major Muscles?! What exercise goes along with each fitness component?
Ask you 3rd-6th grade student to name a physical fitness component and an exercise that would help stregthen that component. For example, burpees is a whole body exercise that helps build your cardiovascular endurance.
